The 2025 Munich Shanghai Photonics Expo was grandly held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre

The highly anticipated 2025 Munich Shanghai Photonics Expo grandly kicked off at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from March 11 to 13, 2025. Marking the exhibition’s 20th anniversary, this year’s event adopts the theme "Dedication Over Decades, Intelligence Lights a New Journey". It gathered tens of thousands of enterprise representatives, experts, scholars and industry elites in the laser and optoelectronics sectors from across the globe, witnessing the vigorous development of optical technology and looking forward to boundless future possibilities.

Running for three days, the exhibition set new historical records in both scale and the number of exhibitors. Across more than 100,000 square meters of exhibition space covering nine halls, over 1,400 global exhibitors showcased cutting-edge technologies, products and solutions involving lasers and optoelectronics, laser intelligent manufacturing, inspection and quality control, optics, infrared technology and applications, optical processing, biomedical photonics, integrated photonics, and quantum-related fields.
